New Delhi, After endorsing Airtel, now Bollywood superstar Saif Ali Khan will now promote Wynncom mobile handsets as brand ambassador.
“I am excited to represent brand Wynncom that stands for cutting-edge innovation and style. I admire the brand’s attitude and style and relate to it closely as it is refreshingly trendy and fast,” Saif, who also endorses Asian Paints, said in a press statement.Wynn Telecom Ltd. will launch its Wynncom brand of handsets in May this year.
Even though Aamir Khan’s comedy-drama ’3 Idiots’ was the biggest hit of 2009, filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj’s crime caper ‘Kaminey’ has surpassed it in bagging the maximum nominations for the 55th Idea Filmfare Awards.
3 Idiots,’ starring Aamir, R. Madhavan, Sharman Joshi and Kareena Kapoor, was highly appreciated by viewers and critics alike but it managed to get only seven nominations in comparison to the nine nominations bagged by ‘Kaminey’ and eight by Saif Ali Khan’s debut production venture ‘Love Aaj Kal’.
Mumbai, With a Padma Shri and quite a few hits tucked under his belt, Saif Ali Khan is set to launch his second production venture and spy thriller “Agent Vinod” and says the delayed project is very much on.
“A lot has been said about ‘Agent Vinod’, but we are very much on track. Final touches are being given to the script and at the end of March we should have the film on the floors,” Saif, 39, told IANS in an interview.
After “Love Aaj Kal”, this will be his second production, “Agent Vinod”. It will be directed by Sriram Raghavan.
“Meanwhile, I definitely want to work on ‘Race 2′. To do a romantic comedy is also something that stands high up in my list, but then I am just waiting for a great script to come my way.”
Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor love holidaying in exotic locations around the world and they will be setting off on one such break this Valentine’s Day.Europe is a big favourite of the twosome, and February 14 will see them at an undisclosed European location. Kareena will first fly to Paris to shoot a commercial, and then proceed to their holiday spot, to be joined there by Saif. However, the two will come back to Mumbai soon after instead of having an elaborate holiday.
