Paresh Rawal made a mark with grey shades in films like “Ram Lakhan”, “Jigar”, “Damini” and “Auzaar” before being noticed in comedies. The actor however denies bidding adieu to villain roles.
Asked if he was drifting towards doing more comic roles now, he said: “This is not true. I have done films like ‘Oye Lucky Lucky Oye’, ‘Mumbai Meri Jaan’, ‘Firaaq’, ‘Youn Hota To Kya Hota’ in which I am not at all doing comedy but playing a serious character.”
“I am waiting for the right kind of negative character that I would love to play and still find it challenging enough,” he added.

In our school days we were taught nonsense rhymes that were incoherent, jumbled words strung together trendily. “De Dana Dan” is a 150-minute-long nonsense rhyme.
Its power to mock every rule of sensible and intelligent filmmaking simply infuriates and exasperates you to a point of complete breakdown of communication between cinema and art.

New Delhi, After delivering comedies like “Hera Pheri” and “Phir Hera Pheri”, Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty and Paresh Rawal have teamed up once again in “De Dana Dan”, another laugh riot that releases Friday.
Expectations are high as Priyadarshan’s latest venture is being compared to the “Hera Pheri” films. Produced by Ganesh and Girish Jain and Sunil A. Lulla, it also stars Katrina Kaif, Neha Dhupia and Sameera Reddy.
