Himesh reshammiya is playing the doting family man again. The actor who has never thrown a party for himself is now throwing a big party for his dad on May 5.
Currently shooting for Ishq Unplugged Himesh says, “My dad (Vipin Reshammiya) is getting the Dadasaheb Phalke award for extraordinary contribution to the music industry on May 4. It’s a very big day for me. I am flying back from the Kajra Re schedule in Devigarh in Rajasthan for a day and am planning a party for him. I want to invite all the people who have worked with him for the last 30 years. My dad has not met friends and colleagues like Pyarelal (of the famous composing duo) for years, though he has worked with leading musicians. He’s not been in touch as he’s been busy with my career. Dad is the backbone of my success.”
Papa Reshammiya doesn’t know about the party and it will be a surprise, “We are also yet to decided the venue for the party —whether it will be at home or a suburban five-star hotel — is as yet undecided.”
